THE WORK, AND THE THINKING BEHIND IT

Curiosity.
Made physical.

I design things, build them, take them apart and make them better.

This is where I explain the engineering, the decisions and the occasional expensive lesson.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT / THE APPROACH

Design. Build.
Learn. Repeat.

Each build is also a piece of practical research and development: an idea to investigate, something to try and a result to learn from. That might mean tracing a lens problem, following heat through a case, or finding out why a part that fitted in CAD needs another print.

The prototypes, measurements and revisions are part of the story alongside the finished objects. These case studies follow that process across optics, electronics, software and fabrication, and the experiments keep going after the covers go on.
